Valentina Machina

With over two decades of experience at the forefront of interior design in New Zealand and Croatia, Valentina has honed her skills in leading major projects across various sectors, delivering innovative solutions to complex briefs. 

Her award-winning projects span Commercial Workplaces, Civic & Community institutions, Healthcare facilities, and private residences. She has demonstrated the ability to navigate projects from conception to execution, fostering collaborative relationships with clients to cultivate environments that inspire positive change. Her current involvement in healthcare projects underscores a commitment to human-centric design, championing biophilic elements to foster healing environments. Valentina's passion for sustainability is deeply ingrained, reflected in her NZGBC Green Star Accreditation and advocacy for restorative design principles. 

Recognised as a Fellow of The Designers Institute of New Zealand, she currently, serves as a board member of the institute and proudly convenes the highly respected BEST Design Awards.
