Kyriakos Katsaros

Kyriakos Katsaros is Principal at Studio C102, which he founded in 2013. He works on the principle that good design should be accessible to everyone and not just limited to the few. 

His practice has a playful and tactile approach to adapting, re-imagining and breathing new life into existing structures. From 2014 to 2021 Kyriakos headed the team that designed eight gyms for 1Rebel, a boutique brand of gyms with a concept that elevates the experience of physical exercise into an immersive, entertaining activity. 

Most recently, Kyriakos led the design teams delivering a new permanent gallery at Manchester Museum and a new cafe restaurant at the Brighton Dome. Education and research are important aspects of his practice. Kyriakos has previously taught at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, and has been a visiting critic at leading architecture schools. 

He is currently a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Brighton and at De Montfort University.
