Harsha Kotak, founder of WOD - Women in Office Design (WOD) and the Sustainable Design Collective (SDC), has experience of 20+ years in the workplace interiors industry and has completed projects spanning three continents, having worked in the US, UK, and India. She has worked on some prestigious projects like designing for the White House and Pentagon in the US, and for FedEx and US Embassy in New Delhi, India. Her portfolio of work displays a variety of projects showcasing her skills in Design & Client Management and her expertise as a project consultant.
Currently based in London, UK, Harsha works as a workplace design & strategy consultant for design projects across UK & Europe and enjoys the experience of working with clients and teams from different countries & cultures.
She founded 'WOD - Women in Office Design' – a global learning & networking platform, which connects women in the office design industry, from across the world. WOD now has 2000+ members from the UK, Europe, India & the US, with a growing network of international chapters of WOD. www.woduk.com
Harsha has been invited to speak at conferences and seminars as a key note speaker and also as a jury for several design awards in the UK and India: The British Institute of Interior Design Awards (UK), Designer UK Awards (UK) , Irish times Fitout Awards (Ireland), Economic times Design Awards (India) Frame Awards (Amsterdam), Buildner Awards and many others.
After completing her Masters in Interior Design from SCAD, Harsha studied creative writing at the University of Oxford and regularly writes for design & lifestyle magazines like Design Matrix - India, Times Luxpresso – India, Huffington Post – UK, Spaces Quarterly – USA and several others.
