The TAIKOO LI XI’AN OFFICE project in Xi'an, China, is a model of sustainable development and urban renewal. Situated in the historic Anren Fang and Xiaoyan Pagoda area within the Tang Dynasty's Chang'an City layout, this office is adjacent to the renowned Jianfu Temple. Swire Properties, leveraging its extensive experience in urban renewal and community development, has crafted a vibrant international landmark.

Client Brief and Project Size: Swire Properties aimed to create a people-oriented, sustainable office space that integrates local historical culture with advanced development concepts. The project spans less than 5,000 square meters, fitting the Corporate Offices (Under 5,000 SQM) category. Key Design Elements: The design respects local heritage while embracing innovation. The site, originally an unused school practice field, incorporates environmentally reused materials such as reclaimed paving blocks from archaeological excavations and historically significant bricks and tiles. These elements narrate the urban renewal plan's original intent and significance. The interior design prioritizes employee comfort and health, enhancing work and life quality through thoughtful space layouts and high-quality environments. Multifunctional design fosters a diverse and inclusive work atmosphere, with artistic elements like feature wall installations and unique flooring materials providing inspiration and relaxation for employees. Construction Methods and Sustainability Features: The project employs various technological means to optimize lighting, ventilation, and comfort, showcasing excellence in both indoor and outdoor space design.
