The clients’ brief for their family home was to create an inspiring yet calming sanctuary.

The works involved façade retention and complete reconstruction of their detached Notting Hill Villa to create lateral and open living spaces. Below ground we excavated and created a haven of tranquillity with swimming pool and family spaces. Above ground the floor plates were opened up to allow flowing lateral spaces to the rear of the property. The palette used is calming, with polished plaster walls and Portland stone and natural oak floors. Bronze details and interesting marbles serve to punctuate the neutral palette. Impressive bronze and oak glazed doors, bespoke joinery with leather detailing, beautifully detailed bathrooms all tell a story of the creativity and care poured into this amazing home.
