Agency: RECONSTRUCTION AND RECONSTRUCTION OF SUBURBAN LIFESTYLE
Client: UNITED INVESTMENTS AND PROPERTIES

As a multifaceted community dining and drinking space, PICKING UP LIGHT AND FIGHTING WILDERNESS offers a variety of functions including coffee, dining, drinking, exhibitions, receptions, and a community center. It is an important spiritual symbol of lakeside living on the peninsula, interacting organically and positively with other cultural and tourism resources such as the Honey Box Hotel, Xike Camp, and the Peninsula Community. This provides a rich and diverse range of services for both traveling customers and community residents. The space of PICKING UP LIGHT AND FIGHTING WILDERNESS aims to offer a brief escape from the routine of daily life.

In facing a space that encompasses such a multifaceted business model, our renovation must ensure the future flexible use of the space by the operators through continuous and open spatial design. Additionally, we need to shape the boundaries of the space using flexible methods to define its various domains. Beyond reasonably accommodating the commercial functions of dining, drinking, and coffee bars, it is even more important to provide a public space with community service attributes. This space will offer the community a place for self-learning and parent-child activities, as well as a venue for people to gather and meet.
