Sustainability was a key focus of the redesign, with an emphasis on refurbishing existing elements and using locally sourced materials. This approach reduced environmental impact and supported local craftsmanship, adding authenticity to the hotel’s aesthetic. Natural materials like stone, wood and textiles harmonized with the surrounding landscape, creating a serene atmosphere.

Guest rooms have been equipped with electronic controls for lighting, temperature, and security, accessible via a mobile app. The clubhouse features facial recognition systems for user access, and centrally managed audio systems through an iPad, allowing seamless control from the lobby to the restaurant. Water conservation was another priority, with rainwater collection and reuse systems reducing reliance on municipal water supplies, serving as a model for environmental stewardship.
