Studio Illumine has crafted the lighting design for Anto 35, a high-end Korean steakhouse nestled in

the heart of New York City. Designed by DESFA Group, Anto's interiors is an homage to luxury and cultural immersion that embodies the harmonious fusion of Eastern tradition and Western modernity. Upon entering, guests are greeted by the front bar, where a curved bar counter, accentuated by trimless recessed spotlights, establishes a harmonious focal point. Concealed linear fixtures trace the graceful curves, while concealed linear lighting in ceiling coves illuminate the corridor path. Transitioning to the Omakase bar, the lighting invites diners into an ethereal Korean landscape, created through a curated blend of rustic and delicate materials. Translucent rice paper panels with oriental mountainscape are softly illuminated by linear grazers. The chiseled stone bar's textures are highlighted by integrated linear fixtures, while a kinetic wave-inspired lighting centerpiece detailed with dimmable LED panels adds dynamic interest. An immersive elevator journey features a Hibiscus flower art installation with an infinity mirror effect, leads to the second-floor restaurant. Low-key ambient lighting envelops the space through concealed linear lighting that runs across the banquette seating, while recessed track lighting provides focused illumination for each table. A feature piece composed of brass Hibiscus flowers is accentuated with recessed track with zoomable spotlights. The final ascent brings guests to the third floor bar which offers a view of the Empire State Building. This luxurious space, with marble and brass elements and curated lounge seating, is bathed in a warm glow from strategically positioned LED lights and panels. adapting to the retractable ceiling’s structural constraints, side-mounted spotlights provide general illumination, Anto's lighting design is a seamless extension of its elegant interiors, a nuanced lighting scene that enhances the sophisticated architectural details while ensuring a comfortable visual experience for diners.
