Cathy Dean

Cathy Dean is Founder and CEO of Studio Dean. She is obsessed with the way that calm and considered homes can change people’s everyday lives. Her biggest thrill is delighting her clients with stunning, purposeful designs that they would never have dreamed up by themselves.

Since becoming fascinated with buildings and architecture as a child, Cathy has been honing her skill, broadening her experience and fuelling her creativity. She has planned, renovated, designed and styled a wide range of residential homes, all with one goal - to make inspirational interior renovation work with everyday life. In 2016 she founded Studio Dean to design beautiful, purposeful homes across the North East of the UK and shake up the Newcastle Interior Design scene.

Cathy and her team of like-minded, local designers believe that if a space looks incredible but doesn’t make life easier, then it doesn’t work. This is why liveability and quiet luxury is at the core of everything Studio Dean creates.
